Bronze for Rachel

RACHEL Hanagan took bronze for Ashford AC at the South of England Indoor championships at the Lee Valley Centre.

She shone in the U20 women’s triple jump with 10.57m off a very short run up and sister Laura  finished 5th in U17  triple jump with 9.72m off also off a short approach.

Caitlin Dock made the U17 women’s 60m semi finals running a personal best of 8.6s and ran well in her heat of 200m with 29.04.

Abbie Purkis reached the U15 60m semi final in U15 with 8.63s and ran well in the 200m with 28.69.

Stevie Walder set a new indoor personal best  of 25.52 in the 200m and also ran well in his U17  60m heat clocking 7.8 seconds.

Sam Beckett made the U20 women’s 200m semi final with an indoor PB of 27.5 and ran another personal best of 8.37s in her 60m heat.
