Welcome to Ashford Athletic club.
We are one of Kent's best known and most active athletic clubs, formed in March 1965. We are a club with a long history and a team of passionate, dedicated and well-qualified coaches. Our home track, the Julie Rose Stadium, was opened in 1997. It is currently under the management of Freedom Leisure. We have an 8-lane outdoor running track which was completely re-laid in 2022. We have facilities for long jump, high jump, pole vault, and throws (discus, javelin, shot) and an indoor sprint straight, long jump pit and throws cage. Our training sessions are held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
We offer an extensive range of competition events for all abilities and ages from Year 6 (age 10) to Veteran.
We are generously supported by Givaudan which enables us to give our athletes as many opportunities as possible to achieve their goals, through quality training and competition.
