Sportshall - Folkestone 9th November

HARRY Pitman had an excellent day winning the Under 15 section at the Sportshall competition at Folkestone in a boy's competition dominated by Ashford athletes. He won the vertical jump, standing long jump and speed bounce as well as seconds in the shot and four lap race. Second was teammate Ellis Bennett who won the shot and third Ashford AC's Connor Owen who won the race with the club taking the team award.

In the U13 boys Tom Keaveney finished second winning the speed bounce and second in the shot with Stuart Allin, third in the shot finishing 13th, Finley ONeill 17th amd Chris Scrivens, who won the shot, 18th.

In the girls Ashley Wood, winner of the speed bounce, was fifth ovberall; Ella Saxby won the standing long jump to take eighth overall, Grace Pitman as 16th and Sophie Pearman 23rd.

Both Under 13 teams finished third.

In the U15 girls Faith Etokowo was second overall after winning the vertical jump and seconds in the shot, long jump and race while Ella Hindle was fourth overall setting  a competition best winning the shot and third in the vertical jump and speed bounce.
