KYAL Match 3 Report

Posted: 10th Jul 2018 by Lewis Smith

Ashford AC's Under 13 & Under 15 Team competed in their third KYAL Division 2 Match on Sunday, 8th July 2018. The match, held at Ashford AC's home track, was the Club's third successive win in the KYAL. The youngsters won the match by over 300 points, demonstrating their strength as a team and proving that promotion to Division 1 is now only a short step away.

With a huge number of personal best performances, the day got even better when the Under 15 Girls 4x100m Relay Team beat the Club Record with a time of 51.7s, which had stood for 31 years. Kaliyah Lacey, Libby Turbutt, Bronwyn Yeandle and Sarris Teale will now go down in Club history. Thank you to Claire Le Rossignol for her expert coaching in getting the relay team to this standard.

Ashford AC would like to thank all athletes, parents, officials, team managers and Ella Saxby for their help at this match.

Fun for all! Come join us at our next match on Sunday, 5th August at Erith Leisure Centre. Please speak to KYAL Team Manager, Michael Teale, for further information.
