After having a long and successful career in competing in athletics at club, county and international level including training alongside Julie Rose. And being a life-long member of Ashford A.C

My main role now is a U.K Level 3 all-round Athletic Coach, in

  • sprints

  • Hurdles

  • Middle distance

  • Jumps

  • Young childrens' Athletic and Multi Skills Coach.

  • Sprint Block work

 

I have a huge working experience and in depth knowledge.

My main aims of coaching is to oversee strategic planning and evaluate individual performances.

Whilst delivering good coaching sessions.

I believe in having the ability to relate well with the athlete’s needs and to maintain a positive attitude with people.

It is important whilst coaching/teaching young children to introduce the element of FUN, while learning.

I have coached many top athletes including sprint coaching for Ashford’s own international athlete Lisa Dobrisky. I also coach pre-season sprint and fitness training for local and county rugby, football and hockey players.

I have developed through the young key stages of athletics while working in schools, youngsters from the ages of 5 to now top county level senior athletes.

 

  • Thursday – Coach sprints and Long Jump 6.30 – 8pm 11-16yrs

  • Tuesday – Coach under 5yrs to 13yrs at Folkestone Running club

  • Start Block work
